Based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, Howes Joinery pride ourselves in providing first class workmanship on every single project we undertaken, no matter how big or small.
Founded in 2003 by self-confessed perfectionist Brian Howes, a time served City & Guilds craftsman with over 20 years’ experience, Howes Joinery has quickly gained a reputation as a reliable and exceptional joinery and carpentry service.
Brief history
I started work for a reputable local building company after leaving Sir John Nelthorpe School. During that time, I was offered an apprenticeship with the company and studied for 3 years at North Lindsey College, where I gained a City and Guilds qualification in joinery and carpentry.
My boss at that time was a hard task master and demanded high quality workmanship at all times. This has provided me with an excellent basis to start up my own company when my boss eventually retired.
